Lid Lift Gas Struts
No more lid slamming on your fingers or head when getting your goods. The lid lifts with gas struts assists your opening and keeps the lid open. They also keep all the force of the strut inside the lift to prevent any warping.

Exactly What I Needed/Wanted
I have a podcast that I often travel to guests for. I was transporting all of my gear in the original OEM boxes packed into a roller duffle. This was a total pain in the *** and not sustainable. I bought the 80L since I knew I'd be able to check it. I outfitted the interior of the case with egg crate foam and now I have a 42.6lb checkable box that I don't have to worry about unless it falls out of the cargo hold mid-air. Equipment I've packed in there: 2X - Gator Frameworks desk mounted booms, 2X - Headphones, 2X - Microphones/cables, and 1X Rodecaster Pro 2 Console. The inside dims are ~22.5"L x ~14.5"W x ~12"H. Based on the molds, the main case is not a perfect square, so you have some sections in the bottom of the case where you'll have a bit more room ~3." You also have to account for the hinges/struts that come installed. So far, I'm super happy. Great Product. Also, I think the OD green looks great!
