Job Location: 100% Remote

Job Type: Full time, Permanent Industry: Outdoor, Camping

Salary: $70K+ to commensurate with experience

Start Date: Early November

Job Description: The accounting controller will plan, coordinate, and direct all accounting functions and provide strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cash management and monitor/analyze ongoing cash flow
• Budget creation and monitoring
• Financial reporting and documentation
• All accounts payable and receivable (to include managing vendor relationships)
• End of month & end of quarter close
• Some involvement with payroll and HR
• Assess current practices and procedures to make recommendations for improvements
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance

At least 7 years relevant work experience

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and GAAP

Strong analytical / interpersonal skills

High proficiency with Microsoft software applications
